Abdominal Massage Berlin

Liberate the lifeforce flow

Abdominal massage inspired by Taoist massage (Chi Nei Tsang) — a practice that meets you where you are, and works with what the body is holding.

Visceral touch is a manual energetic and somatic release technique, consisting of non-painful manual pressures and strokes on different organs and energy points of the abdominal region. It originates from Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Taoist approach to energy circulation in the body.

Questions you might have

What exactly happens during a session?

You lie fully clothed with your belly exposed on a massage table. I work with slow, non-painful manual pressure and circular strokes on the abdominal region — around and on the organs, the diaphragm, the intestines, the solar plexus. The work originates from TCM and Taoist practices, and is also guided by what I feel under my hands and what you share before and during the session. Each session is slow, attentive, and fully adapted to you.

Is it painful?

No. And we make sure it’s not. The technique uses pressure that is firm yet always progressive and mindful. Some areas may feel tender or sensitive, especially if there is tension or emotional holding there. You are always in control: I check in regularly, and you can give real-time feedback to adjust.

Who is it for?

Anyone who wants to work on their belly — whether for physical reasons (digestion, back pain, menstrual pain, pelvic tension) or for something less defined: a sense of being blocked, disconnected from the body, or with stuckness in the gut. You don’t need to know what you’re looking for.

What do I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can relax in. You’ll be asked to uncover your belly for the work, but you remain otherwise clothed. A loose top or a top you can roll up works perfectly, and loose pants you can slide a bit down.

What might I feel during or after?

During the session: warmth, energy movement, release, sometimes unexpected emotions surfacing — this is all normal and welcome. After: many people feel lighter, more grounded, or sometimes deeply tired. Digestion and drainage often become more active in the hours following. A quiet evening is worth planning for, and definitely nothing stressful or physically challenging.

How many sessions do I need?

A single session can already create noticeable change. For deeper or more chronic patterns — long-standing digestive issues, recurring back/menstrual pain, persistent tension — a series of a few sessions in a short period of time tends to have a more lasting effect. I’ll share my sense of this after the first session, without pressure (pun intended).

I’ve never had any kind of bodywork. Is this a good place to start?

Yes. The abdominal massage is grounding, gentle, and fully clothed. Many clients come with no prior experience. The effects are often immediately tangible — you leave feeling different in your body.

Is there anything I should do before the session?

Avoid eating a heavy meal in the three hours before. Empty stomach is ideal but not mandatory. No coffee or tea. Come as you are — no preparation needed. If there’s something specific you’d like to work on, write to me beforehand or we can talk at the start.
